My first kiss went a little like this... kidding! Not going to share that here...It's just a great song on the radio, and made for a catchy title...and kind of plays into my topic.
I come to you, my readers...all two of you...sheepishly repentent from my long hiatus from blogging. This was not a planned or voluntary break. But as life never happens as I plan it, I shouldn't be surprised it's been two months since I last blogged. So we are going to go on a whilrwind tour of the last two months of my life. I've been thinking that I've been experiencing a lot of new things in the last two months. So why not share with the internet, right?
My first *blue* kiss: I was kissed by a blue man. *scream* That was most likely the only time it will happen.
My first "bad" grade: I did not cry when I got less than a 4.0 gpa. This definitely won't be the last semester that happens.
My first miracle grade: I got an A on my Calc 2 final, which is unheard of, so not only a first for me, but most students who have this professor.
My "first time around" pass: I passed Calc 2. This definitely qualifies for the list since I know people who retook it.
My first *real* vacation: I went to the Fabulous Las Vegas...and plan to return many times...as early as this Christmas.
My first serious job: I got a summer internship. I hope this isn't the only one...and boy do I have stories to tell!
My first time getting up early: I've been waking up at 4:30 am, just to go to work. I plan for this to be the last job that happens at. These hours are for the insane!
My first fitness class: I tried Zumba...and I even went back! I now go back two nights a week!
My first *unsupervised* pie: I baked an apple pie without any adult supervision, and it even turned out tasty. (ps, the crust was even from scratch) And a first for the world...*drumroll* it had the Point of Origin poked into the top crust. (Can I get a fist pump from my fellow Stargaters?!)
And we'll round it off at nine things...because I feel like nine is a fun number today. And I just realized it's time to take my shower so that I can go to bed at 9:00 like an old lady, just so I can get up at 4:30 like...like...no person in their right mind. Woooo-eee! Am I ever excited!

It would be better with ten.
(I've been watching Monk before bed for the past week.)
Since your blog is titled "ramblings" according to my blog-roll I will give you my rambling comment."
Glad I get to comment first about all your firsts. Buh steals my thunder way too often.
Ian ate a blue peep last night and looked at his hands and said "I'm turning blue!" I thought if you were here he could have given you another blue kiss. And I seriously want to go to Vegas too.
I read the newsletter write up about your coveted internship. Can't wait to hear the stories.
And I want to hear more about Zumba. I'm just at home with my DVDs or hitting the pavement so I don't know about any cool things at gyms.
Dang if I had commented last night (like I wanted, but Tory was telling me to get off the computer so we could go to bed, sigh, he is an old man) I would have stolen Jana's thunder once again. So here is my thought:
You don't count going cross country with Grandma in the back seat with us singing along to Elvira as a real vacation? I am crushed.
Dang it! I was going to comment about how you didn't consider driving to the Oregon coast and resting your little head on my "pillow legs" on the way there as a real vacation, but forgot and now Elizabeth did steal my thunder!
